I would like to sincerely thank all our customers, suppliers, colleagues, neighbors and especially staff for your caring concern and tender notes of condolence over Guy's passing. I will treasure your loving words and support forever.
For 19 years Clancy’s was a great part of Guy’s life. And in the last two years he certainly was the face – and the voice – of Clancy’s. I know we will all miss him dearly, especially his sweet smile and authentically friendly nature. He was undeniably warm, gentle and gracious. As the sole owner of Clancy’s (and who I would refer to as the “soul” owner) he was my love, our favorite guy and the true spirit of hospitality, treating everyone with enormous generosity, compassion, and friendship.
It will be my personal honor and my team’s mission to keep his spirit alive from this day forward. Clancy’s is, and will always remain, a landmark restaurant. We invite you to help us fulfill Guy’s dream of having Clancy’s be the heart of the Cape landscape. As he always said, “Clancy’s is not just a restaurant, but a home away from home, a place of great memories.”
We invite you to celebrate Clancy’s 25th summer on the Cape and help us plan for many, many more. Join me and my team as we carry on Guy’s dream and the Clancy’s tradition of fine food and friendly faces.

ReplyDeleteYour team, spirit and cape serenity was a part of our vision we never expected when we shot our show at your wonderful restaurant. We got sun shots the day before and the blessed snow shots on our hero day. it was Norman Rockwell at his finest painting come to life!! My crew all talked about what wonderful people you were to work with and how Clancy's should be a memory we will all cherish for the rest of our lives. And hopefully, many of us will be able to visit the Swan Pond legend on occasion for many years to come. Thank you again for the incredible food and beyond sensational hospitality!!
